These red / dark orange CZ gemstones are safe for firing with precious metal clay and will not discolour significantly.

Although described as "Garnets" by our suppliers, some customers have described them as more orangey. They are not a deep blood-red and are more of a "copper" or a burnt orange colour.  But it depends of how you view them.. If you hold them up to a window, so the light shines through them, they seem "orangey". But with a darker background, like silver clay, they seem redder.. and in some light, they even look copper.

As you can see, it's very tricky to describe the colour!  But if you are unhappy at all, then please return therm for a full refund.  or you can replace them with another colour.
