Gail describes her 5 pieces below..

"Pinon branch - 3" PMC + pin made with paste over pinon branch and reinforced with clay. I live in the high desert of New Mexico. Two years we lost more than 50% of the state's pinon trees to a bark beetle. This was my homage to the pinon, and a way of preserving it for future generations."

"Forest Maze - 2 1/4" Pendant made from PMC 3 with man-made sapphire, hammered and hung with fine silver on a PMC 3 twig. Strung on a necklace of graduated, faceted tanzanite beads."

"Running Antelope - 2.75" free form antelope pendant, hammered and shaped after firing and hung on 22" necklace with Chinese turquoise and sterling silver. An homage to our Native Americans and their love of nature and art."

"Free-form pendant on silk cord - 1.3" PMC+ pendant made with sculpted slab, simulated ruby and fresh water pearl"

"Tree Bark Pin - PMC + paste and clay with made-made emerald. Hammered and shaped after firing."
