She says about her entries....

"The first piece (and it's variations) is obviously the most appropriate piece for a Christmas Competition! It is a lucky charm for the New Year, which is a common gift for these days in my home country, Greece. My charm reads the greek letters beta-zeta, which is the number 2007 in ancient greek numbering. To make this piece, I first made a photopolymer plate mold. The main version is oxidized and hand polished to a matt finish, but there are also other variations, including the use of Aura 22 (gold)."

"The second piece (CS010B) is a pair of earrings. The pebble-shaped forms are hollow inside, and were made using the dry-construction method. I've chosen to use sterling silver wire for more durability. Oxidized and hand polished to a matt finish."

"The third piece (CM030-5A) is a necklace of five individually shaped hollow beads, hand-made clasp and waxed thread. Again, the making method was dry construction. Oxidized and hand polished to a matt finish."

"The fourth piece (CM010-5A) is another necklace, made of five smaller individually shaped hollow beads, hand made clasp and waxed tread. Once again, the making method was dry construction. The beads were hand polished to a mirror finish. "
