Drying your metal clay pieces
In humid climates this can be a long process, to speed up the drying of your piece there are a number of options. The most common being the hairdryer but this can cause overheating and blow it up (as it did with mine! :-( ) Other items you could use include:
- A heat gun (the sort used by papercrafters for embossing)
- A food dehydrator (especially good as they circulate air andthe piece will def. dry flat)
- Under a hot lamp (it needs to be very hot though!)
- Or...a coffee mug warmer (you know the novelty USB ones you can get?)
