Enamelling your metal clay
If this is something you will be doing i would recommend NOT quenching your fired piece. The rapid cooling process can cause the piece to become more brittle and water gets steamed into 'pores' of the metal - these will come back later and haunt the hell out of you when it comes to setting the enamel. Have the patience to let it air cool the results will be much better.
