Inexpensive alternative to a Tumbler
Inexpensive alternative to tumbling
This is from our forum regular Krista ( http://www.crystalseas.co.uk )
Instead of buying an expensive tumber and shot to make your PMC pieces shiny, just buy the shot and put some into a small container, like a peanut butter jar. Put in your PMC finished piece and give it a good shake for about 20 minutes.
We'd add that you'll probably need some water and some low suds soap.
Krista suggests giving it to your kids to shake, but Argentice do not advocate child-labour ;-) Maybe this time of year the exercise will do us all good. Why not take two jars out jogging with you!!
We've not tried this tip, but let us know how you get on below.
