Making rings out of metal clay
A great tip here for easy removal
If using a mandrel wrap a small piece of paper or post it note around the mandrel, then cover it with invisible tape slightly greased. The paper and the ring will both slide off the mandrel a lot easier once formed and dry, ready for touching up pre-firing.
