Money Saving Tips

Tip #1 - Don't waste anything, even completely bone dry PMC can be saved.

Open up a piece of cling-film onto your work surface and lay it flat. Then
take your bone dry lump of clay and file it (using a clean file) making sure
all the silver dust particles land on the cling film. Pieces which are too
small to file, chop up as small as possible with a craft knife and sprinkle
onto the cling film. Scrape all the bits of PMC into the centre and add a
few drops of distilled water.

Now gently lift up the corners of the cling film and twist the, now slightly
damp, PMC into a ball and seal by wrapping the clingfilm back on itself, or
using a freezer clip, or peg.

Massage the clay a little and leave overnight to allow the water to soak in.
Massage it again in the morning, still in the cling film and if it is still
dry add a tiny bit more water. Repeat if necessary.

"Debbie,

What are you rolling out your clay on. If you use something like plastic coated playing cards you should not have this problem."
